By Car:- Drive to Glasgow. At Glasgow follow the M8and then the A8 signposted to Greenock. In Greenock take the A73 signposted to Largs, and follow this road to the Wemyss Bay ferry terminal. (Glasgow - Wymess Bay = 32 miles). Take the Caledonian Mc Brayne car ferry to Rothesay (there is a ferry every 45 minutes and the journey takes 30 mins). On arrival at Rothesay, drive off the ferry and go straight ahead crossing the main road and continue up past Rothesay Castle. Continue straight up the hill passing the playing fields and then the church all on your right hand side. At a distance of 1.3 miles from the ferry you should find a turn first on left after the church and opposite the Bute creamery. Take the right and 50 yards later you will come to the factory.

By Rail:- Take train to Glasgow. From Glasgow central station take train to Wemyss Bay ferry terminal. Take ferry to Rothesay. There is a taxi rank at the pier.

By Air:- Fly to Glasgow Airport. Hire car and then follow car instuctions above, or take taxi to Paisley Station, and take train to Wemyss Bay ferry terminal. Take ferry to Rothesay. There is a taxi rank at the pier.
